Encom Welcomes Rob Winstanley as our new Director of Engineering.

A warm welcome to Rob Winstanley, Rob re-joins the Encom Wireless team as our new Director of Engineering. With over 30 years of experience in system design, system integration, firmware development, protocols, and wireless / wired communications, Rob consistently approaches design challenges with a fresh perspective and ensures that the final product satisfies all requirements. His solutions are creative, innovative and complete.

Most recently, Rob was a Senior Systems Engineer at SMART Technologies. This was a demanding role requiring technical leadership, attention to detail, requirements management, interpersonal communications, structured processes, and frequent travel to manufacturing partners. Rob brings a diverse set of skills, industry knowledge and innovative ideas to our Encom Wireless family.

In his spare time, Rob enjoys working on his classic car or spending time with friends and family. He can often be found outdoors if the weather is nice or can be found online gaming if the weather is not so nice.
